I know that nearly everyone is going to disagree with me, but I think Schiff has gone a little over the top.
Between this comment and his appearance on Glen Beck the other day, he’s reminding me more and more of Ron Paul.
Let’s remember that Ron Paul (a man I voted for and donated larges amounts of money to), does the same thing: on so many things he is right, but then he blows it by saying something totally off the wall.
Schiff said the other day that the stock market would match the price of an ounce of gold. In other words, gold would either go to $8000/ounce, the stock market would fall to 900, or some combination in the middle.
I think that long before any of this would happen, self-preservation would kick it and we would find a solution that DIDN’T involve the destruction of the world as we know it.
With a full respect for his expertise on many areas, Schiff is sounding more and more like a Jack Van Impe of economics.

You may be correct, but you have to give the man credit for being right about everything else up to this point.
ReplyDeleteCheck out some of the interviews on U tube from just last year when he was laughed at on Fox News when he predicted a Recession.
